Report Writing: Format and Language
Internal Report
Reports
aim simply to inform, update or increase awareness in a selected audience of a
certain matter, event or issue. Sometimes, they aim to obtain approval from
their audience by putting forward information and supporting facts. The tone of
voice is therefore persuasive, in addition to being formal and restrained.
